Xiao Lian Tou and Seeking Bridge assumes that the enemy is at similar skill level. Thrusting Finger assumes situation when we are significantly outnumbered. It teaches the practitioner to effectively finishing the opponent in shortest time possible to get out of the rough situation by “deflecting and attacking at the same time; using attacks as defense.”
